CUPA Overview

An Individualized Program of Study

CUPA enrolls American college students in the University of Paris system and certain Grandes Écoles and specialized institutes, and offers them a challenging program of study fashioned to meet individual interests and requirements, over a semester or a full academic year.
Students may also take in-house courses although they are not required to do so. Special programs in fine and performing arts are available for qualified students, as are internships.

The CUPA Student

CUPA seeks highly motivated students who are well-prepared academically and linguistically, have open and inquisitive minds, and who seek a high-quality academic program providing an in-depth cross-cultural experience. CUPA provides an opportunity for personal growth through a variety of intellectual, cultural and social challenges to students who are committed to the idea of a true “cultural connection”.

The CUPA Staff

The CUPA staff is permanent, bi-national and bi-cultural, and has numerous years of experience and long-standing affiliations in both the French and American academic worlds. The relatively small size of the CUPA program allows its staff to respond to the diverse individual needs of its students on an on-going basis.
