What the Program Fee Includes
The Program Fee includes:
- 2 credit-bearing courses
- Homestay for the duration of the program
- Public transportation pass for unlimited travel within Paris and Ile-de-France for the duration of the program
- Free access to most museums *
- One weekend trip *
- All program-sponsored activities (“pauses gourmandes”, end-of-program dinner, etc.) *
- Tickets to performances: opera, dance, theater, exhibitions… *
* Please note: Extra curricular and CUPA sponsored activities may be revised according to French health regulations at the time.
Estimated Additional Expenses
The following are estimates of additional expenses not covered by the CUPA program fee. These figures are based on former student evaluations. How much you actually spend during your time in Paris will ultimately depend on your lifestyle.
Required Expenses
- Additional meals: 400 € *
- Cell phone expenses: 250 €
- Insurance, visa, and passport fees: n/a for U.S. citizens
- Personal items: 100 €
- Transatlantic airfare: 900 €
Optional Expenses
- Additional cultural expenses: 75 € **
- Cafés, restaurants, etc.: 150 €
- Vacation travel, major purchases: 200 €
*For students who have chosen to live independently, this figure will be higher.
**CUPA sponsors numerous cultural activities during the program.
